FAQ’S
Yes, we specialise predominantly in turnkey renovation projects, which include all aspects such as joinery, home automation, underfloor heating and project management. We work on apartments and houses in different architectural styles. A typical project for us is a back to brick renovation, where we start from scratch to alter layouts, integrate spaces and add extensions.
We are open to taking on interesting projects anywhere in the UK or abroad. However, since most of our projects are situated in specific parts of surrey, we primarily focus on areas such as Ashtead, Banstead, Chaldon, Chipstead, Cobham, Epsom, Kingswood Warren, Nork, Oxshott, Purley, Reigate, Sanderstead, Warlingham, Woldingham, and Woodcote.
Having a major refurbishment means you will need to be prepared to move out for the duration of the project. Generally speaking, staying in the property is not a practical option as it can lead to significant stress for all involved, create significant safety issues and unnecessary delay to the project, since sections of the house that can be worked on simultaneously are limited.
The construction timeline largely depends on the project complexity, site restrictions, and property size. In addition to these factors, you must also consider the time required for design, estimating, and obtaining planning permissions or alteration licenses. These preliminary stages can sometimes take longer than the actual construction and renovation works, so it is crucial to be aware of these constraints and plan accordingly. As a general guide, a complete apartment renovation can take 4 to 5 months, while a house renovation with an extension typically requires 7 to 8 months.
Expecting parents often ask a similar question. The short answer is no. Designing. planning and ultimately renovating your property require a significant amount of time and need to be organised well in advance. At this stage, we would recommend simply relaxing, focusing on your family and postponing the renovation until you are truly ready to undertake the project.
We can recommend experienced architects and interior designers from our network of contacts or collaborate with professionals you've already hired, offering only our construction expertise. We would be delighted to discuss your project if your property is located within our service areas. Please note that, due to our excellent reputation, we are typically appointed through a negotiated tender process and rarely participate in open tenders.
