Rear extension, structural alteration and Kitchen

Location: Kenley

Type: 5 Bed Private Residence

Size: 4,255 Square Feet

We replaced an old conservatory with a fully functioning extension with natural light flowing from each side creating a sleek, practical upgrade.

01
Natural light

We implemented two electric opening skylights, a glass gable, and two sets of bifold doors to flood the property with natural light, enhancing its airy, open feel. These features allow light to pour in from multiple angles, creating a brighter, more inviting atmosphere throughout the day. The increased natural light not only improves the overall ambiance but also makes the interior spaces feel larger and more connected to the outdoors, boosting the property’s overall appeal.

02
Pocket doors

We fitted a glass pocket door to create a sleek, modern look while maximising the use of available space in the property. The pocket door slides seamlessly into the wall, freeing up valuable floor space and allowing for a more open, uncluttered layout. This space-saving feature not only enhances the functionality of smaller areas but also adds an element of sophistication without compromising on design or accessibility.

03
Renovating old projects

We chose to fix and refit existing structures, such as the patio, to preserve the character of the property while minimising the need for extensive demolition. By refurbishing rather than replacing, we reduced waste and avoided the environmental impact associated with sourcing and manufacturing new materials. This approach supports sustainability by extending the life of the original structures, promoting eco-friendly practices, and reducing the carbon footprint of the project.
