This project involved a complete renovation of the property, including stripping the house back to brick, building a full-width extension, and reconfiguring the layout to create a modern kitchen/family room, TV room, formal lounge, four new bedrooms, and two bathrooms. We also redesigned the garden with a raised deck, new patios, and installed advanced features like underfloor heating, bespoke kitchen furniture, and full Wi-Fi coverage, transforming both the interior and exterior for a more functional and up to date living space.

Location: Purley
Type: 4 Bed Private Residence
Size: 2,314 Square Feet

We fitted dark-toned units in the kitchen to create a sophisticated contrast with the lighter elements, adding depth and richness to the space while enhancing the overall tonal balance of the room.
We chose an Aisling artisan kitchen for its high-quality craftsmanship and timeless design, which perfectly complements the property's modern yet warm aesthetic. The walnut detailing adds a touch of elegance and texture, while the dark blue cupboards provide a bold, sophisticated contrast that enhances the kitchen's visual appeal. The contrasting light elements highlight these design choices, bringing balance and creating a striking, cohesive atmosphere that fits beautifully within the space.
We fitted underfloor heating throughout the entire ground floor for a more efficient and evenly distributed warmth, eliminating the need for traditional radiators. The system can be easily managed via phone or individual room thermostats, allowing for customised comfort in each space. This setup offers energy efficiency, enhanced comfort, and the ability to control temperatures remotely, making it ideal for modern living.
We fitted a raised a decking patio to create a seamless transition from the kitchen to the outdoor space, allowing for easy access and a natural flow between indoor and outdoor living areas. Our expert team carefully considered the sloping garden, ensuring the design accounted for both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The raised patio maximizes the use of the outdoor area while providing a level, accessible space that complements the property’s layout.
